Where Does the Name Horton in Horton Air Come From?

Ron Horton was hailed a hero for helping bring down 2 serial shooters who terrorized Arizona in 2005-2006. He passed away in 2008, but his memory lives on through this company and his 3 sons, Cody Dryer, Mitchell Dryer, and Dillon Dryer.

Seriously, these guys are the best. Cody came by to inspect our newly bought house and did a full free consultation on what we had going on and ended up re-configuring our entire system. He got in the attic to inspect our duct work, got up on the roof to make sure our roof unit was running properly, and helped reconfigure our internal AC control to its proper wiring and software settings. Turns out we had a bunch of things wrong that were corrected FOR FREE! Tried to buy his lunch for his time and he wouldn’t accept. Class act all around. We will only be using these guys for future AC work. Horton if you read this, give Cody a raise.

Horton was recommended to us by our energy auditor for installing mini-splits. I spoke to Cody initially but cannot remember the name of the gentlemen who came to do the estimate. Both of them were wonderful – punctual, polite, informative, and did not gaslight me in the slightest. ❤️ I have managed several of our home renovations and been forced to educate myself in building science due to some health problems. So, I know more about construction and the trades than the average homeowner. I’m also a petite female and you’d be shocked at the number of contractors and tradespeople who interrupt me, talk over me, and generally just reduce my opinions to nothing. There have been several occasions, especially while managing renovations, when I’ve had to get my former law-enforcement husband involved and/or had to fire and replace crew members due to their inappropriate conduct. Anywho, no such issues with Cody and his crew. They’re awesome. And while we ultimately decided not to install mini splits in this home, we will absolutely use Horton to do the job on our next home. They are highly qualified and educated and I will have the peace of mind knowing the job was done right.
